DC does not have a Homeowner Act much like the Condo Act. We have homes with no protection against their board or a community have the right to collect assessments to repair the private roads they now have and is debt to the residents.

DC has also not adopted the final language on the Develop Warranty Bonds. Currently they are posting a letter if credit which is allowed to be burned down as they develop the project. By the time the transition they could be nothing left to warranty against. . See Issues
